Donkey/ Horse Sitting in your home is the best and healthiest way to have your donkey(s) and horse(s) looked after when you travel. Whether you are going on vacation or you are just busy at work, let me take care of them in the comfort of their own home.

Horse and Donkey Sitting services are designed to meet their personality and daily needs. Fees are priced per visit for up to two donkeys or horses ($5-$10 extra per visit for each additional horse or donkey).

Other Services Offered:

* Basic Grooming (It is important to groom regularly to avoid skin issues, discomfort, and hair loss. Includes brushing and hoof picking only. Price varies.)
* Bath and Brushing (price varies)
Only tools and supplies provided by owner are used to ensure nothing is transmitted from other horses. Horse(s) must be calm and comfortable being groomed.

* Blanketing/ Unblanketing: Prices vary based on setup—e.g., stall vs. pasture turnout—and number of layers/sheets. Starting at $5–10 per horse/donkey.

*Cleaning Stalls / Paddocks / Pasture:
Prices vary based on services requested—e.g., quick manure picking vs. full stall strip and adding fresh shavings, area size, and initial cleanliness. Starting at $10.

* Administering Medications: Simple medications are included in the regular visit rate. Simple medication(s) refers to giving oral meds (pills, tablets) hidden in their feed like applesauce, molasses, etc. Or supplements in their feed. Or applying simple topical creams, ointments, or sprays.

At an extra fee:

• I can also administer medications through injections intramuscular (IM) or subcutaneous (Sub-Q).
• Pastes (through syringe)

* On-Site Vet & Farrier Care: If your horse or donkey needs medical attention while you are away, I can meet your mobile veterinarian or farrier at your property, assist with haltering/holding during the visit, and communicate updates directly to you.
Rate: $48/ hour (1-hour minimum, billed in 15-minute increments thereafter ($12))

[Owner must arrange for a mobile vet to come directly to the property. Equine hauling/trailering transport is not provided. Client remains responsible for all vet/farrier bills directly.]

I also provide (upon request) updates on how your horse(s) are doing FREE of charge.

Notes

* Please click on the “Services” tab on the Menu for more important information. All services REQUIRE an “Initial Booking Consultation”. *For the initial booking consultation I am charging $40 that needs to be paid during the Initial Booking Consultation visit. This would then be used as a Credit on the first pet sitting invoice if services are used within one month.

* Rates are for local services up to 10 miles of my home(20 miles round-trip).For locations outside this 10-mile radius, an additional fee of $2.00 per mile (calculated round-trip) will apply.

* Additional Holiday Fee: There will be a $7 extra fee per visit for holidays including: Easter Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day thru Sunday after Thanksgiving, Christmas eve thru New Year’s Day

* Time ranges are minimums and averages only
