All services require an “Initial Booking Consultation”
Initial Booking Consultation (IBC)
For the initial booking consultation I am “charging” $30 that needs to be paid during the Initial Booking Consultation visit. This would then be used as a Credit on the first pet sitting invoice if services are needed within one month.
This visit is an opportunity for me to meet your home, your pets, and each other, – for you to feel comfortable with the way I interact with them (and you).
At this visit, we will complete the necessary paperwork, answer questions, transfer keys (keypad codes, gate codes, etc.), & tour your home/ property while discussing detailed instructions on how to care for your pet(s).
If I am the perfect fit for you and your pets, then I will need a set of house keys & we can go over alarm systems, identify surveillance cameras, water shut off valves to your home (in case of water pipe emergencies), breaker boxes in the event electricity goes out, and other important info. This required meeting should be scheduled at least 72 hours prior to service.
*Please note that additional “Initial Booking Consultation” due to no-shows or same day cancellations will be scheduled at the regular visit rates.
Other Charges
Additional Holiday Fee: There will be a $5 extra fee per visit for holidays including: Easter Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day thru Sunday after Thanksgiving, Christmas eve thru New Year’s Day
Early Morning/ Late Night: Service hours are 7am to 7pm. If you want to schedule a visit outside of service hours there is an extra fee. Fees start at $10 extra per visit for any visit scheduled before 7am or after 7pm (this is only if you ask for a specific time outside of service hours).
Usually my visits start before 7am and end after 7pm depending on my number of visits and how I arrange my schedule.
Add-On Time: If additional time is required, $5 will be charged for every extra 15 minutes.
Key Pick Up/ Drop Off: Key pick up at the Initial Booking Consultation is free! For clients who choose to have their key delivered and/ or picked up from them for each booked pet sitting services there is a $25 fee for my time and transportation related expenses (this fee is not including the $1.75 for every extra mile traveled after 10 miles from my home; see “Mileage traveled” below).
Mileage Traveled: Rates are for local services up to 10 miles of my home. Additional fees may apply for traveling outside of the mileage area. Usually $1.75 for every extra mile traveled.
